Part of the charm of any location is not only in its sites, but the people you encounter.
It's part of the reason it
makes you want to return.
While in Jacksonville I had the opportunity to explore the
Historic Riverside Art District, dine and shop in
Five Points, take in a concert at Jacksonville Landing and
browse other parts of the downtown area.
Something about walking with a camera makes you approachable. I've been asked directions, to take
photographs of complete strangers, and (my personal favorite) if I had any "authority" to get someone to change the color
of the lights on the bridge!
Jacksonville--it's friendly, it's funky,
and it's artsy.
I seem to fit in just fine!
